Employee OSHA Awareness Training
This training covers a broad spectrum of topics. The usual topics that EKS provides training on are lead and asbestos, however, we can conduct awareness training for any OSHA regulation from Slips, Trips and Falls to Benzene and Coke Oven Emissions. The training general lasts two hours and encompasses the regulation that needs to be discussed as well as videos on the topic at hand.

EPA Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Training
Initial & Refresher This course is certified through the State of Michigan and EPA. The initial course is 40 hours (five 8-hour days) and the refresher course is one 8-hour day. This course covers topics that are important for abatement practices and the supervising of a job site.

EPA Asbestos Building Inspector Training
Initial & Refresher
This course is certified through the State of Michigan and EPA. The initial course is 24 hours (three 8-hour days) and the refresher course is one half day (4-hour course). This course covers topics that are important to conduct asbestos inspections and sampling for asbestos.

EPA Asbestos Management Planner Refresher Training
Refresher
This course is certified through the State of Michigan and the EPA and is required annually for Asbestos Management Planners in order to maintain their training accreditation status. The refresher course is one 4-hour day. This course reviews the core topics and techniques applicable to interpret building inspections and physical assessments in order to prepare the appropriate hazard assessment and develop compliant management plans.

EPA Asbestos Project Designer Refresher Training
Refresher
This course is certified through the State of Michigan and the EPA and required annually for Asbestos Project Designers in order to maintain their training accreditation status. The refresher course is one 8-hour day. The class reviews topics that were introduced during the initial Designer’s Class plus current changes in laws and regulations. Design concepts are reviewed, with emphasis on practical knowledge for the active Project Designer. State-of-the-Art abatement issues are studied through case studies and hypothetical scenarios.

OSHA Construction Standard Training
OSHA 510—30-Hour Training
This training course is certified through OSHA and also accepted by MUST for the online modules. This course covers all of the relevant regulations for the construction industry that OSHA has established. It is also accepted by MUST as an equivalent to the online modules. Usually conducted for foreman/supervisors on construction job sites.
OSHA 10-Hour Training:
This training course is certified through OSHA. It is a condensed version of the 30-hour course and is usually conducted for workers on an OSHA construction site.
